If you’re on OS X 10.8 (Mountain Lion) or later, you might see the the following warning when installing Eyefi Center:
“Eyefi.mpkg” can't be opened because it is from an unidentified developer. Your security preferences allow installation of only apps from the Mac App Store and identified developers.
If you do, click OK to dismiss the warning dialog, then right-click or Control + click on the Eyefi.mpkg installation application and select Open. The warning dialog will appear again but you can then click the Open button from the warning dialog to launch the Eyefi Center installer. You will no longer see the warning dialog when launching Eyefi Center unless you manually download the update from our website again.
Please follow these step-by-step illustrated instructions:
- Locate the Eyefi Installer or eyefi.dmg file. It is located in the Start Here folder on your Eyefi card; if you have downloaded the file it may be on your desktop or in a Downloads folder.
- Right-click or Control + click the Eye-Fi.mpkg installation application and select Open.
- A warning dialog will appear. Click the Open button from the warning dialog to launch the Eyefi Center installer.
- The Eyefi Center installer will open. Click the Continue button to start the installation process.
